OFFICE MANAGER - Electrical Contractor

Keid In Electrical is a small up and coming Electrical Contractor that is growing at a rapid rate.  The time has come for the company to employ a dynamic office manager to manage all aspects of the newly created office at Lota from reception to bookkeeping, safety and providing support to the Director and staff.  A fantastic opportunity exists for the right person to shine in this new role.

The newly available role will include but is not limited to the following:

  • All aspects of data entry and bookkeeping using Xero
  • All Aspects of Account Payable and Accounts receivable
  • Daily bank reconciliation and updating of cashflow spreadsheet
  • End of month reporting to Director and Company accountant
  • Liaising with the company Accountant regularly regarding cashflow
  • End to end payroll processing including Superannuation and PAYG
  • End of year Liaising with Accountant for Tax assessment
  • Liaise and maintain Banking, Insurance, Phone and Internet accounts for the company
  • Answering all incoming calls
  • Booking in jobs into operation system after liaising with client
  • Maintaining positive relationships with Customers
  • Scheduling jobs for electricians
  • Timely collection of payment from clients
  • Plan printing for Project jobs
  • End of day checking daily hours for electricians through operation system
  • Ordering of Materials as advised by Director and Tradesman
  • Quarterly stocktake of Inventory
  • Maintenance of Test and Tag and Emergency lighting register
  • Maintenance of Asset register
  • New vehicle registration, insurance, toll card etc.
  • New employee inductions including, uniforms, safety, licencing etc.
  • Vehicle maintenance/servicing logs.
  • Ordering of office stationery and supplies.
  • Receive and sign for deliveries

The successful applicant with ideally possess the following attributes:

  • Experience with Xero
  • Experience in the electrical or construction industry
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A dynamic, confident, proactive and motivated attitude
