This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator experienced across services or utility projects, or PUP coordination and looking to join an industry leader on a Gold Coast landmark project. The business is considered to be a leading mid-tier contractor with a focus predominantly on Main Roads, bridges and other civil infrastructure.
We are searching for a Project or PUP Administrator with a minimum of 2 â 3 years project support experience on the construction of utilities/services projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction and looking to work for a highly regarded contractor on a long term project.
Reporting to the PUP Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Co-ordinate all notable works to be undertaken
- Provide high-level administrative support to PUP (Public Utilities Plant) team
- Liaise with all relevant utility partners and subcontractors (water, gas, network)
- Effectively manage regular updates on PUP works to project team
- Establish and maintain effective and professional relationships with the public utility authorities
- Ensure safety standards are kept to an ultimate high in line with client and Government legislations
Requirements:
- 2 â 3 years civil construction and or PUP (Public Utility Plant) project support experience
- Strong administration skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise workload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to strict deadlines on a daily basis
- Communications skills both written and oral to a high standard
- A good relationship builder and team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ability to pick up systems quickly
