The Role
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining quality and stakeholder expectations.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Take end-to-end ownership of the project, setting the programme, sequencing works, and driving delivery outcomes across all stages of construction.
- Develop, manage, and continuously refine the construction programme, proactively identifying risks, delays, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the design process from concept through to IFC documentation, including coordination of consultants, resolving design issues, and ensuring buildability.
- Maintain full control of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and management of variations and procurement.
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment, accountability, and high performance across all disciplines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
- Drive WHS compliance, identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure all works meet required quality standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Urban Development or similar
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within commercial construction and ideally a background in Contracts Administration.
- Proven ability to deliver projects through the full lifecycle
- Strong capability across both design and construction phases
- Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and variations
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, and subcontractors
